Getting Started

1. Create your studio

Sign up at www.bailaya.com and complete the studio setup wizard. You will be asked for:

  • Studio name and address
  • Time zone (used for all class scheduling)
  • Default currency
  • Dance types you offer (Salsa, Bachata, Cumbia, etc.)

2. Invite your team

Go to Settings → Team to invite instructors and staff. Each team member can be assigned one or more roles:

RoleAccess
OwnerFull access including billing and payment configuration
StaffClasses, students, attendance, packages
InstructorOwn class schedule and attendance only

3. Set up rooms

If your studio has multiple rooms, add them under Settings → Rooms. Rooms can then be assigned to individual classes to prevent double-booking.

4. Schedule your first class

Go to Classes → New Class and fill in:

  • Dance type — must match one of your configured studio types
  • Level — Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, or General
  • Day of week and time
  • Start date — the first occurrence
  • End date (optional) — leave blank for an ongoing class
  • Instructor and room (optional)
  • Price (optional) — leave blank for free

5. Add your first student

Go to Students → New Student and enter their name and email. Students can also register themselves through the guest booking checkout.
