Events

Events are one-off or recurring sessions that are not tied to a dance type — social nights, workshops, showcases, etc. They appear separately from the class schedule in the public embed.

Creating an event​

Go to Events → New Event. The fields are the same as classes, except:

  • There is no Dance Type — events are type-free
  • The Host field is equivalent to the Instructor field on classes

Booking​

Events support the same guest booking checkout as classes. Students can book and pay directly from your website embed.

Public display​

Events are returned by the Events API endpoint and rendered by the EventSchedule component in the website integration SDKs.
